Donate
Any donations made to The Auckland Women’s Centre contribute to the empowerment and well-being of women and their whānau/families. The donations also contribute directly in assisting the long term sustainability of your Women’s Centre.

Membership
We would love you to become a member of the Centre!
Centre membership entitles you to vote at the AGM for members of the Governance Board. It is also a great way to support the Centre. The annual membership fee is what you feel comfortable giving on a sliding scale from $20 – $50. We offer $5 membership to students, superannuitants and beneficiaries.
Attend events
We provide dynamic and energizing community kōrero that bring people together to explore issues vital to women’s lives from their perspectives. It’s about building networks and identifying solutions.
These forums shine a light on topics that don’t receive much attention.
Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers who are keen to lend a helping hand at our forums. We need women who are available to help from 4pm onwards on the evenings that we have events, assisting us with venue set-up and make sure things run smoothly on the night.
Attend Fundraisers
We are excited to be organising regular fundraising film screenings and events. Bringing you films by emerging women directors and some classics of feminist and lesbian cinema, international feminists, artists and local music. It’s a great night out and a great way to support your Women’s Centre.
Advocate
Te Wāhi Wāhine engages in a number of advocacy projects. This includes the Coalition for the Safety of Women and Children and hosting the Intersectional Feminists Club – join us!
Visit us
Do you have another way you can help?
Come on in and visit us at the centre at 4 Warnock Street, Grey Lynn. You can drop by anytime for a cup of tea and to find out more about what we have happening and how you can participate. The centre is a positive women’s space and we would love you to be a part of it!
Bequest
We are always deeply moved when somebody honours us in their Will.
