Are you keen to embrace a little more creativity in your life? Join us for an evening of feminist craft and expression at Auckland Women’s Centre.
You’ll be guided step-by-step by local artist Alex, who will help you paint your own feminist inspired artwork to take home. Alex brings a fun, inclusive and hands-on approach to teaching, so don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school (or never before)! You’ll be supported through each step with plenty of guidance, encouragement and space to make the artwork your own.
Your ticket includes
- A guided painting session
- All art supplies
- A glass of wine; cheese board / light kai!
- Feel-good tunes (song requests encouraged!)
What to bring
- We will have wine and a non-alcohol option, feel free to BYO favourite alcohol-free drinks
- An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy (we will have some aprons)
With just 20 places available, this intimate fundraiser is a chance to meet like-minded people, learn more about the mahi of Auckland Women’s Centre, and make a difference whilst doing something fun and expressive!
Your $65 ticket has maximum impact and goes directly back into Auckland Women’s Centre’s frontline services and advocacy.
Bring a friend, partner or colleague, have fun and head home with your own feminist artwork, knowing you’ve helped create a safer, fairer future for our community.
We can’t wait to paint with you!
