Anti-Violence Action: AVA

AVA is a community group, coordinated by AWC, focused on taking action against gender-based violence in its various forms. It advocates with law-makers, government departments and politicians on behalf of those impacted by physical, psychological, and sexual violence. We are currently focused on ensuring this government passes an anti-stalking law that works well for victims.

Coalition for the Safety of Women and Children partnered with the National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges to write a paper advocating for stalking to be criminalised.
