Meditative Art is a holistic wellbeing course based on the freedom of artistic expression combined with meditation practices to connect body, mind, and soul in a creative way and to support self-discovery.

The intention with this course is inviting a creative outlet while exploring art and self-awareness for personal clarity and authenticity as an opportunity for self-care.

This experience is offering you a deeper connection with your mental and emotional wellbeing as well as a felt reduced sensation of stress and anxiety.

You don’t need to have any artistic talent!

Please note: All the art equipment is provided (material to draw, paint or crafts and tools to create with).  Although we supply everything, we encourage participants to take their own favorite art material and notebook with blank pages to keep track of their own creative journey along the course.

Dinny

Dinny is an Italian Creative Wellbeing Practitioner as she sits at the intersection of disciplines.

Former graphic designer with over a decade of experience in the artistic field, Yoga and Meditation facilitator, Pilates instructor, and lightworker using Reiki.

Her background is in Fine Arts which she studied in Italy and her personal journey connected her with Yoga and Meditation between Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

It’s not just art or just yoga—it’s the alchemy that happens when the two meet.

She deepened her understanding in the native art world and achieved Kāwai Raupapa Certificate in Māori and Indigenous Art. Moreover, she gained Manaaki Tāngata Certificate in Bicultural Social Services and she is currently studying Trauma-Informed Education to become an Integrative Somatic Facilitator.

All these practices amplify her connection with several modalities highly focused on self-exploration and self-healing.

Since 2019, she co-founded the Art Yoga project in Aotearoa which allows her to contribute to life in support of the community. Exploring freedom of artistic expression combined with meditation to connect with oneself in a creative way, support self-discovery and promote self-empowerment.

Feedback from previous participants:

“Dinny and Gulia are wonderful hosts. They lead the sessions in such an inclusive and empathetic manner. Their love and passion for humanity is evident and they make each session feel special.”

“Every session was an opportunity to learn more about myself and about finding creative safe ways to express and explore the many emotions inside. It has given me a programme of self care and a way of giving to myself that I had not considered before.”

“I love that you do not need to be arty or creative, that is not the purpose of these sessions, it is the process which matters, the ability to let go of your self critic and to allow yourself to be free to be you.”
