Moving from surviving to thriving: A one-day workshop designed to help you pivot and positively step forward into creating the life you choose

Separation can be a time of upheaval and uncertainty, both about your future, your identity, and what it is to live a life with purpose and meaning unique to you. Your tutor Rose’s own experience after separation was feeling like being tossed about on a directionless ship on a stormy sea. This supportive and fun small-group workshop is about empowering you to set your course and steer your own ship using your own unique strengths and resources.

Topics include:

  • Letting go of any unhelpful limiting beliefs and insecurities that are holding you back
  • Models of psychological well-being
  • Identifying strengths, values, and goals
  • Practical and thought-provoking exercises to help you picture and plan your journey ahead

Rose Ewing

 

Rose has taught workshops at Auckland Women’s Centre on Transformative Co-parenting. Following a high-conflict separation, she feels that by following particular psychological and philosophical approaches to life and relationships, she was able to successfully reframe and rebuild her life, and move from surviving to thriving.
