Build on your skills and learn techniques such as various texture stitches; cables; knitting in the round; colour work including fair isle and intarsia.
This series of workshops is for those who have mastered the basics of knitting and wish to extend their skills. Students must be already able to cast on; knit garter and purl stitch; increase stitches; bind off; and follow basic knitting pattern instructions.
Our multi-talented tutor Barbara Woodman offers two courses for Intermediate-level knitters.
- A standard, eight-week course. Designed for people who have done the beginner’s course, or has some knitting skills already.
- A four-week Intermediate Knitting: summer tee course. Designed for people who have done our Intermediate course before, or has substantial knitting skills.
