Learn to Knit

Learn how to knit and have fun while making new friends

This series of classes is for absolute beginners. The teaching will start with the basic stitches, understanding how knitting works, differences in yarns, casting on, following patterns and fixing mistakes. The class has a maximum of ten students so that you get the individual hands-on support when you need it.

You will be making small knitted squares as you practice the techniques and stitches then sewing them all together to make a patchwork cushion cover or blanket (you choose the size, style and colours). Be inspired and encouraged by the tutor and other learners and go on to become a knitter!
